Ko Sing Chinese Takeaway - Sandown

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant on the island. We order from here all the time, and it's the only place where I've never had a bad meal. The food is always freshly cooked and delivered on time. Every dish I've tried has been delicious, but my favorite is the cannon-style escape.

We found the meal to be mediocre at best. The fries were fried again and had an odd aftertaste, and the sweet and sour egg dish we ordered was a bit overcooked, with a small portion of sauce. It was quite pricey compared to our usual Chinese restaurants, but understandable for a holiday dinner. The complimentary crackers and fortune cookies were a nice touch. There’s no parking available out front, but there is a large free parking lot (for one hour) behind the shops.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. My only disappointment was that they charged extra for chopsticks.

The wonderful woman at the counter was exceptionally helpful and warm. The special noodles I ordered were among the best I've ever had, featuring generous portions and delightful flavors. Thank you very much!
