Breakfast in the morning, so it was very quiet. Great place next to pool and bay. Eggs Benedict and chicken waffles ordered. Both were delicious. Came out hot and fast. Really enjoyed our food and time at the café. Definitely recommend!

Wow – this place is a hidden gem. Known for best shrimps and dimples, but was sold out, so we got no chance to taste, but decided for chickens and waffles and peache cream pancakes. The peaches and cream pancakes were good, but the chicken and the waffles were the best we ever had. The service was a little slow, but they were very busy so it was expected – still great. Place is also located within Sunset Bay, stunning seafront property.

Beautiful view sitting outside, good service and absolutely delicious food! There was an extra waiting to sit outside, but it was worth me. I got Hill Billy and my husband got the chicken and waffles. Superb!

We drove from our Fort Walton hotel to look for Destin and decided to check this place. The area is absolutely stunning, the restaurant is in a great location. Although we sat inside, it was absolutely beautiful. I have the brûlée waffles and the shrimps and grits. Both were the best meal I had in Florida so far, and the food came out quickly. The service was bad. There were several employees who didn't even recognize us. The majority of employees looked upset or harassed, even here. Our coffee and water came with the food. We waited 15 minutes for the check and we had to ask. Overall, this place would have been a 5-star assessment if the staff adapted the excellence of the food and the prospects.

Sunset Bay Cafe offers great food and water views. The service was quick and courteous. Breakfast was hot and flavorful.
