The only Korean restaurant that i can find in sandakan. Located quite in isolated areas. Find hsiang garden hotel then u can find this place. Food was very pricey and the quality of it not the same as u paid. Ordered kimchi jiggae for Rm27 inclusive of 7 banchan, rice and free chinese tea. But what disappoint me is the jiggae barely have meat. I asked before ordering is it only kimchi inside the waitress said no there'll be pork meat inside. When the order came i only get 3 small pieces of meat. So so disappointed. Only have 1 waitress staff and i think 1 person in the kitchen therefore expect to wait some time.
Very very old Korean restaurant but also the only Korean restaurant in Sandakan. The food are just normal for any foodie unless you are just craving for Korean cruisine, then it is fine to dine-in there. The restaurant is warm inside and not offering really good dining atmosphere for customers.
I used to be here. Usually they have to book their seats first because it is always full. the Korean type is then the one who serves us all, about 12 tables. we arrived exactly 7 o'clock, took our orders at 7.19 o'clock and finally got our first meal at 8.10 o'clock we said one of the workers went on vacation so that they were short workers. food wise, I can't comment much because I'm flexible and accept most food without problems, and it was my first time in a Korean restaurant. but a thing I think the boss has to take. first aid (or first one, first they must be applied in the restaurant. when we came, there were only 3 tables filled with gas, among them us. 10-20 minutes later others came and were first taken command and skipped us both, and their food came a lot earlier than us. I know that they have risen to a higher degree (family, more or perhaps very close to the owners first? but this makes a bad impression for the first timer as we are. After all 11 tables were taken over (read them, all 11 without us, then he came and took our job, think them, we are the 3rd who came first, but yes, he apologized for it. Nevertheless, from 3 to the last one is not a little pleasant to serve. even if they are busy, first come first to serve here. I hope the business will continue to grow. and if the staff or the chef see this, please note that. not bad impression on the first timer in sandakan. all good in their business!
Eating is good, but normal. the price is little experience for me.
