Balin Roofgarden Bistro - Sandakan

The salmon sourdough pizza is to die. great view, great service! but the cake was very dry!

This place is for sure the best place to hangout in Sandakan, the view is spectacular!!! During sunny day you can hangout at the outdoor garden area and you can enjoy the sunset at the roof later on. But do let the staffs know earlier, sometimes it could be very packed. Also to avoid queue, call to make booking :

Magnificent cafe with magnificent view. Seemed a lot of people loved hang out her with their friends, partner and etc. The environment is so relaxing and soothing. I had a great time hang out here with my friends even I came here several times before. Menu here mainly Western theme. Great choice they offered with great type of libations that y'all should try. Everything tastes really wonderful and had a bit of grandeur i'd say. Make the foods like artistic with great sense of taste. Creatively done though. Price was affordable, service was great. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for other people out there and i definitely will come again.

We settled in at Balin Roofgarden for the afternoon/evening and enjoyed both the cold beers (1664) and some absolutely delicious Espresso Martini's. We also enjoyed their crispy French fries with the wasabi mayo whole soft shell crab/salad. All the food here was scrumptious. To tip it off is the beautiful sea breeze and views from the rooftop. Truly enjoyed the relaxing feeling at this location. A massive rap also goes to the staff who were exceptional. Would highly recommend it.

One of the best places to eat in Sandakan whilst enjoying the cool breeze at night. A perfect place for celebrating special occasions. They open the restaurant till midnight. The staffs are friendly, though they may not be able to serve you properly during peak hours. Overall great experience!
