Bidra med feedbackLoved every bite! The food was so amazing we didn't stop to drink our rose! Fresh produce from their farmers market! Amazing and creative salad! The foie gras with a strawberry compote! Their unique version of Spaghetti carbonara! To die for! And the perfect sea bass. HEAVENLY! I watched the steak and fries go by and we are going back tonight to try it! The garden setting was lovely as well!
Very fair prices for wine of the region; food seemed to be a sampling of tapas. For France, it looked pretty good and those eating seemed happy.
I can't tell you how many times we've walked right past this place, without a clue what it was - I mean, literally - is that, like, just someone's garden? But on this Friday night at the end of our holidays, we were guided here by our Sanarian friends - and the rest, as they say, (well, they don't, but, hey), is delicious…Perfectly created for a balmy summer's night, this meandering exterior of tables and trees, of cosy covered corners and eclectic enclaves (that's enough alliteration, I think), is like arriving at some Thailand island countryside garden. It's a genuinely unique experience in these parts, and it's really, really fun.The menu is short and simple, which is more reassuring and easy, than a let-down. The prawn Thai curry is fabulously clean and coconut-y. The risotto is rich and and tasty. Service is relaxed and friendly, with impressively attentive and professional young staff on hand too - I know it's kinda fogey-ish to say so, but young waiting staff this good are a rarity round here… or anywhere…We're well pleased to have finally discovered this place, and we will definitely be back.Fab!
We spent three Sundays in Sanary, and on two ate at Bard-o (excellent) and decided for the third to go to Un coin de. which is on the other side of the town and is also the restaurant for the Grand Hotel in whose grounds it is located. With sun umbrellas it made a good location for outdoor eating on a hot day. I attach photos of the dishes we ate and I liked particularly the salmon carpaccio and the rosotto with scallops. You could eat more cheaply as we chose the most expensive main courses! Service was energetic with a young waiter moving at great speed! We intend to revisit when next in Sanary
