Killer Buns - San Rafael

Ordered the Tso bowl with shrimp and wasn’t good. The shrimp tasted just like fried batter. Never tasted the shrimp at all. If you go to killer buns better order bao buns, that better.

We had an awesome time here at Killer Buns after stopping by the market on vacation. Amazing food and great service California shrimp and shiitake Baos were fantastic! Food is delicious, high quality and I appreciated being accommodating to my dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!

I loved this place. Quality,quantity and presentation for price gives it 5 stars. I waited maybe 15 minutes on a busy sunday and I appreciated it because they didn't speed threw and you could tell *they take pride in there work*! Their stand was very convincing and I love the names they give there meals. Can't wait to go back and try the wings next time.

Killer Buns: Located in El Mercadito at Plaza Tempo. El Mercadito is a sophisticated food court that features dishes from around the world. They claim to be one of the first to bring Asian street food to Costa Rica so we had to order from the 10 buns choices being my favorites as follow: shrimp tempura with Sriracha mayonaisse, the deep fried pork with peanuts and lastly, a dared bun that was fried first and stuffed with a chicken in bittersweet sauce. Plates are impeccable and attention is fast. Recommended.

Goodgood and reasonable prices. The only problem is that the food takes too long. If I have a 45-minute break and I have to wait 30 minutes for my food, my break is almost over. Perhaps one should be better prepared, especially at lunchtime. Anyway, the food is delicious and tasty. A little faster and it's perfect
