Bj's Brewhouse San Rafael

I love their tavern cut California Club pizza. That’s what I ordered with a glass of Jeramiah Red beer. Waiter was harried and anxious. Otherwise it was a good day.

SERVICE WAS A LITTLE SLOW DUE TO A BUSY AFTERNOON. IT TOOK A WHILE TO GET TAKEOUT BOXES AND A WHILE LONGER TO GET THE CHECK.

The daily special was pizza half price. We ordered the tavern pizza, a very thin crust pizza with smoked chicken, bacon, avocado and it was super! Then we proceeded into happy hour and ordered their ribs spicy salad $6. The ribs were delicious but the salad was way too spicy as if a bottle of Tabasco was used for the dressing. Waiter needs to make eye contact with his tables because it took awhile before he acknowledged us when we had questions. However, I'll go again to BJ's.

Good food, but service is lacking. Even with a reservation and open tables there can be a 20 minute wait. Servers also get the orders wrong, but they have a good attitude and are friendly.

Service there has been slow lately even when light with customers. Bar is VERY slow in fulfilling drinks for diners.
