Whatever you order here, even if you specify no lard in the beans, no cheese and no crema, no animal products of any kind, they'll turn around and slap your tortillas on a griddle that is DRIPPING with animal fat. There is no such thing as getting a non-animal meal here. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-02

Absolutely delicious and authentic Mexican food and super nice service! Crazy good grilled chicken quesadilla! Grilled fish taco was a generous whole filet, so moist and seasoned perfectly! Cochinillo asadotaco was delicious with a generous portion of meat and the pickled red onion was a very nice addition. We wanted their Chicken Tortilla Soup we saw some patrons enjoying but they had just run out so we will be back to try that! Nice to know it's made fresh each day! Thanks for an awesome meal!!!

I’ve traveled the world looking for another Chicken Tortilla soup that comes even close to that soup. Not even. I dream about it. I love their quesadillas and carnitas, but that soup!

An excellent staff and all of the regulars that you expect from a taqueria. Would eat there again anytime happily

We live near this restaurant and I was really hoping it would be good but after trying 3 times, I’m sure I’ll never order again. Basic details missing like the chips have been consistently stale. Their takeout is given on Dixie plates with tin foil so beans, sauce, etc all smash and make a complete mess. Food didn’t even taste good. The inside of the restaurant is really not cute. It’s crowded with dark decorations and feels dirty.
