Black Bear Diner - San Rafael

Server screwed up my order, took forever to get our food. Huckleberry milkshake to go was awesome!!! Once we got it, very slow service!!!!

We had a great dining experience at the Black Bear Diner. It was the perfect stop to escape the other high price resturants in the area. They were very accomodating for our large party and service was excellent.Vegetarian options: Not too many options though it is possible with salad and if the vegetarian eats eggs and fish.

Good food, clean, nice atmosphere. Waitress not smiling ot welcoming at all. Like I was a problem for her.

It's a restraint with good food and plenty of it. The pies here are really good, nice way to complete your meal.

I wish i could give zero stars. I ordered a turkey club on Friday and got food poisoning and now it's 4 days later and I'm still sick and have to go back to the hospital. I called to speak to the manager on multiple occassions never got a call back. Today I called I was put on the phone with Judith whom is not the manager, then I was hung up on. Just to have to call back and finally get a hold of Frank the manager. He told me I need to take it up with my doctor and was extremely dismissive. He didn't do anything to try to save the relationship and never apologized. I will never do business here again and I have many connections in Marin and will make sure I spread the word. This is unacceptable. Eat here at your own risk. My whole family is sick from this place.
