il Postino - San Miguel de Tucumán

The mayority of the Tripadvisor users are right. this restaurant must be in top 5 by tucuman. beautiful pizzas, empanadas and schrimps. draft patagonia bier is also a plus!

Good values for money, the pizza is normal, the main dishes are not good and, most important, not really italian. very friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Great food. ( Avoid the pasta, although gnocchi once and lasagna had on another and felt disappointed.) however, I came back during our stay in tucuman and found il postino a great general choice.

This restaurant has a good value for money. the steak was cheap and the staff was very attentive.

We wanted to try this #1 rated restaurant, so we walked 500 meters north of our Hotel Metropol. The door was opened by a uniformed waiter, who ushered us to a window table for 2 among the nearly full bottom and mezzanine rooms. Menus soon...arrived and we perused the many offerings. Another waiter took our order, brought my draft beer and a full basket of assorted breads(wheat, herb, white rolls and pizza). Our hot meals arrived in 15 minutes; Chicken a la plancha with veggies and french fries, and Merluza with langostino (hake with shrimp and veggies), totaling 500 Ap. On a second visit, with the main floor packed, we shared a grande Fungi pizza in the mezzanine. With a small draft it totaled 300Ap. Wonderful food, attentive service, and clean restrooms in a pleasant industrial decor of brick and Eiffel iron beams.
