Sakura Sma - San Miguel de Allende

Excelente restaurante de comida japonesa, todo excelente.

It was early afternoon and I was the only patron in the restaurant. I spoke with the waiter but what I didn't expect was they added the tip to the bill. I ordered one EEl nigiri style order and one California roll, the California roll was $240 pesos, the Eel was $120 pesos. They charged me $490 pesos... I was a little bit shocked that the waiter tipped himself an $8.00 tip. I am venting my frustration here. Hopefully expats will be smarter than I was. I will not go to this restaurant again.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile. The tastes are rather good compared to other “Asian “ spots in town. I will be back to try more as soon was satisfied with the outcome. I was told new cooks are in place so they need to understand the owners intent with good portions-this would be me lacking 1 more star. The owner did remove that item from the bill so that was appreciated. We have insisted to pay, as it was tasty. We will return and even order take out next time. It’s hard to find good ramen but I think we found it here!!
