Pj's Pizza Co. - San Mateo

This pizza is incredible !!! The staff was so kind and friendly. I loved the crust. It was good enough to just eat on its own. A surprise, but the star of the show was their wings. They are air-fried, light with wonderful flavor and crunch and super juicy inside. Again back to the pizza… so fresh. The crust is thin but not under or over baked can be hard with thin crust, some places make a cracker but PJs was thin and pliable with a nice bit of crust to it. Highly recommend the Hawaiian : but honestly you can’t go wrong with any choice.

I LOVE PJ'S!! Not only do they have the best pie in San Mateo, but yesterday I tried their chicken pesto sandwich and it was to die for. Phillip and his lovely wife also treat me my family so well. It's a must-try if you are in the San Mateo area!

They used to be called Velo City Pizza, but we came in and they told us they’re changing their name into PJ’s so here we are!The owners are really kind and hospitable. They love their business and they surely love the customers. They explained to us their best sellers and how they made their own ricotta recipe for the lamb pizza.It’s a small restaurant nearby our house, so they don’t have a lot of seats available but it’s cozy and comfortable place to visit. They sell a bunch of gelato on sticks and I would say that tastes a little old.. but their pizza are very tasty and we’ll be back again for them!
