Kingston Cafe - San Mateo

Great neighborhood spot with yummy organic food. Housemade Chicken Noodle was the perfect soup to welcome me to my new neighborhood. Reminds me a bit of Zocalo Coffee house on the other side of the Bay, where I just left after 21 years. I will certainly be back! :

Stopped in on my lunch break for a sandwich and drink. Had the Monroe (chicken salad) as a friend recommended it. It did not disappoint and was absolutely delicious and generous. The new owners are extremely friendly and are trying new items to add to the menu, including breakfast items like waffles. Give this local family run place a chance. These times are hard especially as the local school across the street, which my son attends, is closed obviously because of COVID. Thanks Kingston!

Cute cafe with amazing service! I loved that they had a bunch of veggie (also meat) options for the breakfast sandwiches. Good coffee!

Very cozy cafe with excellent service and beautiful, unique decor. Equally enjoyable whether you come for a quick visit or spend a couple hours just enjoying the ambiance. Their coffee and pastries are delicious too!
