Hot Wok Bistro - San Mateo

Such excellent food and fantastic service. we went as a group of eight people and it was wonderful. I wish I have more pictures of the amazing food, but here is a picture of the potstickers. they are made fresh and they are amazing.

Delicious food and so great price! it's been so long since I had to use my so good. my fiance has the honey nut war and it was delicious. the staff was so friendly and I saw that our waitress was so friendly and helpful that a child fought to choose what to order. if I lived in san mateo, that would be my goal, but now it just has to be a place I visit when I'm in town. I hope to come back soon!

An amazing mom n pop shop and really tasty huh fried rice and Mongolian huh! the staff is friendly, courteous and very friendly! this place was discovered with luck and since the last months once in the week here.

Food is pretty good, great welcoming and service. If you're very hungry, no worries, the portions are huge. The only thing I didn't feel like it was super fresh, was the tofu. It had a particular rancid flavor. Overall good price!

The menu is VERY basic and the food was just ok. Hard to comprehend all the 5 star reviews. We are in the restaurant and also think that the Google description as a “trendy place with contemporary styling” is quite the stretch! It’s a local spot, with nice people running it but a bit gritty look and feel.
