Rodizio - San Luis Potosí

Tonight was the most incredible dinner at the Maya Riviera! We enjoyed a tantalizing range of exquisite foods that were as impressive as our superior service and sunset in Rodizio at Barcelo Maya Palace! Benjamin Jimenez was our exemplary server that took part in our needs and was equally attentive to Reyi Campos and Gerardo Alvarez!! We will come back as soon as we can – just divine!!!!

We ate here with a family of 7, including a toddler and a child. This is a great family restaurant with service for families of all kinds. Our servers, Benjamin Jimenez and Adalberto Perez were fantastic, refreshing my Caipirinha as well as my nephews chocolate milk! Food was excellent. Definitely a lot of meat for the spits. Recommend this and all Barcelo Palace restaurants!

The whole family enjoyed it. Francisco and Jesus were excellent waiters! To eat in this restaurant, you must be a guest of Barcelo Maya Palace, I believe. The spits were delicious! My steak was perfected. Don't forget, frejolada soup!

You can only have dinner here if you are a guest of the Barceló Maya Palace (Riviera Maya . This is probably the second best “A La Carte” restaurant in this resort. As soon as you check in, go to Guest Services and make reservations for the “A La Carte” restaurants. You can make 3 reservations every day, so you would have to get back the next day and book the other 3 reservations if you want to have more than 3 “A La Carte” restaurants dinners. Service and food were superb the 2 times we visited. 3 adults and 2 children (8 and 12 years old . If you want a traditional Brazilian stake house dinner, order the skewers. They will bring you different kinds of meats until you are satisfied (they have the red/green card system so you can signal when you don't want any more food . You can also order a Rib Eye (the best! or a Sirloin. Order Flan for dessert (not too sweet . We ordered some complimentary tequila shots of Don Julio Reposado, and I had a delicious Pina Colada too. The kids had a 4-cheese risotto one time (very tasty , and pasta the next. Even when you don't order the skewers, you can take a piece of the meat the server is offering. They were very flexible and accommodating. We all had a great time!
