Bidra med feedbackWe've been here a few times late at night. It's less noisy than the place next door, with friendly staff, decent bar food (nachoes, wings) and some interesting specialities (e.g. Torta Azteca, a cake of corn masa in a flavorful broth). Good beer selection. The house brand is really pretty good - we prefer the amber. They can make a good martini seco, or dry vodka martini.
We stepped in coincidental and very super surprised by the awesome rooftop. Right next to the roof of the church we enjoyed sunset with cocktails in our hands. Super nice atmosphere! The food (vegetarian) was pretty good, loved the crepes as desert. The service eventually took quite long even tough it was not very busy when we were there.
Atmosphere is great the people the staff all great .... Food has a flavor a burnt oil, under cooked fries the salad was old Overall want to have beers and hang out with friends good location your hungry go to McDonald's
The biggest pros of Los Frailes: its great location in a very scenic part of downtown SLP, its beautiful terrace and a good selection of coffee- and alcohol-based drinks. Do avoid being lured by their first floor to have a (semi-)formal dinner there, though: the selection is poor, more cafe-like. The service was okay but came across as amateurish. The food we got was lukewarm and their idea of a long sandwich had too much bread for my taste -- I did see burgers in other tables that were tasty looking, though.
I went to Los Frailes for dinner. There is a very nice rooftop which allows a fantastic view of San Luis Potosi at sunset. The waiters were incredibly nice, friendly, always making sure I was not missing anything. I had a tortilla soup which is probably the best I had so far, very tasty but not too spicy. I really enjoyed los Frailes
