Joy Sushi - San Leandro

I tried the spicy chicken donburi. It was exceptional. I really liked the taste and the spice was perfect, anything less or more would have ruined it, they nailed it. Comes with miso soup which is good as well. Chicken was fresh and juicy. They did not include the soy sauce in my takeout, which was a disappointment, but don't forget to grab some on your way out.

This was the worst sushi I’ve ever had, grocery store sushi is better. The rice was overpoweringly sweet and disgusting, the rolls were really poorly made, the fish was cut poorly as well. I will not be going back. Chicken katsu rice bowl was decent.

Probably one of the best local deals lots of food for around $14 per entree.

Delicious food, homey atmosphere, and wonderful staff! The food quantity is also as great as the food quality. Fed my new fave spot for sushi for the fam!

This is my 3rd or 4th time at this location. So far, I have had nothing but a good experience. Ordering is very easy. I typically order online and just go pick it up so that it is easier and faster. The staff is very kind and friendly. The food is fresh and decent size. My husband and I love the Dragon Roll and I love their Sunshine (so zesty). Highly recommended!The miso soup is very nourishing. I have never dined in but the place looks clean. There is plenty of parking available. It might be difficult to find a parking space right in front of this place because the parking lot is for the entire plaza. However, there is always parking available somewhere.
