Local, cozy, Gem with Over the top service and the best authentic puerto rican food in old san juan, Hands down. This place is porn to the mouth. Forget about a menu just get whatever is recommended. You won't be sorry.

My daughter and I visited Deaverdura today while sightseeing in Old San Juan. The food and service were terrific! We shared the sample platter and each had fresh squeezed juice drinks...lemonade and pineapple. Fresh and authentic Puerto Rican food! We will definitely return upon visiting San Juan again!

Hands down the best food and service we had during our entire time in Old San Juan. Do yourself a favor and ask her to make you a sampler platter. Then sit back and enjoy coconut water from a fresh coconut while she cooks you one of the best meals you'll have in Puerto Rico

A truly exceptional, delicious experience. It was so much fun, very welcoming, casual, and extremely hospitable. The pork was delicious, as were our passionfruit cocktails, love this place! Thank you José for your wonderful and friendly service, felt like we made a friend, and hats off to the lovely Chef, she rocked it. We cannot wait to return.

During a vacation to Puerto Rico we were looking for authentic Puerto Rican cooking like abuela used to cook and we found this jewel. We will definitely be back I recommend this to anyone looking for authentic Puerto Rican food.
