Cafe Pierre - San Juan

The service at this restaurant was fantastic and the food was excellent. Mr. Pabon passionately and confidently described the dishes to us before we ordered. I particularly enjoyed my spinach salad with purple cabbage, cherry tomatoes, caramelized nuts, and a delicious homemade dressing. The dish was perfectly balanced in texture and flavor. I also sampled our friend's kartoffels, which were also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for dining in, takeout, and catering. The atmosphere is lovely, as I was able to enjoy a nice meal with friends and get some work done on my laptop thanks to the available plug and Wi-Fi.

This cafe was fantastic. The food was great, the drinks were delicious, and the decor was very stylish. My fiancée and I decided to take a trip to San Juan for our 25th birthday and we visited this cafe at three different locations; all of the servers were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Mr. Pabon, the manager, is a master of hospitality. He has an amazing personality, took the time to converse with us, and truly made us feel welcome in San Juan.

Located inside DoubleTree hotel, pretty small and targeting mostly hotel guests. If you're getting room with the breakfast option, this would be the place. Fast and friendly service, selection is ok although you may expect more from such place considering it's inside 4* hotel. If you're staying in the hotel worth to get the breakfast option. Outside that a happy hour specials from 5 PM till 8.

The food is good, management is spectacular, but only maybe half the servers actually care about… well, anything really. Service all around is extremely slow- we’re taking almost 10 mins to get a drink and 20-45 mins for food. If this restaurant wasn’t in our hotel, we wouldn’t have frequented as much as we did, but it was convenient.

Breakfast buffet was average, and overpriced for the quality. Service was great, though.
