Guacamaya's - San José del Cabo

Nothing crazy but stumbled upon this location while walking thru the city. Since it was big and open we decided to give it a whirl. Food was yummy, nothing out of this world but not bland. The annoying part was the owner at the end asking us how our food was and then trying to get us into a timeshare thing.Cabo is the most annoying place on Earth with this. Everyone tries some type of timeshare all day long. This restaurant being no different. ANNOYING.

Amazing food!! Amazing atmosphere... This place was our favorite. Drinks were strong. Waiters were nice. There was live music. This place is a must of you want the best Mexican food and the best atmosphere.... And it doesn't hurt that it was cheap...5 of us ate and drank 2 rounds for $110!...$2 Street tacos..sopes... margaritas... Handmade, fresh, warm tortillas... Don't miss this place

Excellent taste, service a little lacking. Went here with my extended family and enjoyed the nice outdoor atmosphere with live music. 10 of us ate well with a few drinks for $97 US.

This place deserves its great reviews. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is bustling without being crowded.Everyone in our large party enjoyed their food, even (perhaps especially) those who ventured out of the normal tourist food zone and tried some local specialties. The molcajetes were popular, and definitely get an order of the fried rolled cheese (chicharrón de queso) to share: salty, crispy, chewy goodness.

This restaurant is off the tourist area, however, they have authentic Mexican tacos. The molcajetes with your favorite meat are delicious as well as the fried cheese. Also, the bake potatoes and the original tacos de trompo are excellent.
