Red Lobster - San Jose

We decided to go to the restaurant specifically for the all-you-can-eat shrimp deal, only to discover that the price had increased from $17.99 to $23.99. Additionally, we found out that instead of the usual two pages of options, there was now only one side with just two choices of shrimp. After placing our order, we waited nearly 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Furthermore, when we asked for more shrimp, they would only bring out one serving at a time, resulting in us having to wait even longer. We ended up receiving six shrimp each time we requested more, which was frustrating considering the high prices and reduced options. Despite enjoying the food in the past, the overall experience this time was disappointing. We arrived at 4:50 and left at 6:40, feeling dissatisfied with the changes.

I have not visited this specific Red Lobster before, but my sister insisted we try it out. It was crowded and we had to wait 25 minutes for a table. Our waiter was slow and the biscuits were hard, cold, and dry. We ordered 2 orders of the Fish and Fries (Friday Special) and 2 servings of the Shrimp Special. My mother and sister enjoyed the shrimp with bacon special, while my nephew had the fish and fries which came out hot, fresh, and delicious. However, when my fish and fries finally arrived, they were cold and the fish was raw. After sending it back to the kitchen, it took 30 minutes for the plate to come back out. By then, everyone in my party had finished eating. I was unable to eat my food and ended up packing it to go. Despite my disappointment, the manager gave me a voucher to return and hopefully I will have a better experience next time.

The steak and lobster at this restaurant were very good. The stuffed mushrooms were also delicious. Are you serving Mac n' cheese with bacon? And those cheese biscuits are a must-try!

Came for lunch. Nice and quiet place on Thursday afternoon. Have a lot of lunch in the week! Order Lobster Bisque, Caesar Salad, Popcorn Shrimps, Shrimp scampi, and fried Flounder. I think the oil could have been a little temp, could have been a little crispy, but overall a delicious and fast lunch. Yum!

Service was excellent! Food was good. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Kinda rare to see during the COVID days of eating out. A . Good job.
