Mextizo Cantina - San Jose

Food quality has gone down over the past few months. Entres come out like warm, fajitas were a soggy mess. Even the guac wasn’t done right. The only saving grace was chips and salsa and the margaritas.

Loved the food. We ordered Empanadas and Fajitas and loved both of them. The drinks were amazing and strong. Their complementary chips and salsa were amazing.

Great patio dining with very attentive service. I had the short rib enchiladas mole. Delicious. Looking forward to coming back.

Outside is much quieter than inside, especially when they have live music, which the did.

They overcooked my steak. The root hash was undercooked. Service very slow though our server was pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place.
