Fonda Colombiana - San Jose

The restaurant was amazing! I wish I had taken some pictures to share, but I was so caught up in enjoying the incredible food. The flavors were outstanding and really gave you the feeling of dining in Colombia. I highly recommend this restaurant for a meal with family or friends, or even dining solo. The prices were very affordable as well. Colombian cuisine will always be the best!

I have been waiting for years for an authentic Colombian restaurant in the Bay Area, and I have finally found it. If you're in search of a taste of Colombia, look no further. I make the drive from Walnut Creek just to enjoy the food here. The atmosphere has a true Colombian feel with great music, delicious food, and a selection of good beers. The empanadas and ají sauce are fantastic - I could eat a dozen! The bandeja paisa and arroz con pollo are also excellent. The prices are reasonable for the Bay Area. And as a bonus, they serve Club Colombia beers. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back. 10/10.

Delicious, For that specific moment I took time to remember my roots, to be clear the flavor is close to real flavor in Colombia, you can enjoy Hogo or Hogao, pats on no like in Colombia but is ok, Sancocho not with a real creole hen but ist fine,the empanadas are really good.

I just tried the chicken and potato fried dumplings and the deep fried three-layer pork belly with whole potatoes at this restaurant, and it was amazing! There is a reservation waiting list on the door if you want to dine-in, and it was already very busy at 6:30pm on Sunday. The staff is fantastic! The restaurant is closed only on Mondays and open until 9pm, after which it transforms into a lively bar. Come check out this hidden gem in San Jose, a small and unassuming place that offers great food and a fun atmosphere.
