Bidra med feedbackEvery spot has something that's super bomb, if I find it, it's automatically 5 stars and I'll come back for it and ignore everything else. I find it weird how people give this spot low ratings when they rave about one dish and say the other is mediocre, just don't get the mid dish next time. For me it's the Lengua tacos. Juicy and oh so tender. Definitely a Hidden gem and underated.
This place is nested in downtown Alviso. I like going here because it's the last stop for food before taking the boat/kayak out in the water. The tacos and burritos are all good and fresh. The only downside is that they don't sell any drinks on the truck. You have to go to the little market that the truck is adjacent to.
Alviso is a historically Chicanx town that has always struggled to survive next to its huge neighbor, San Jose. One of its treasures exceeds those found in other parts of the South Bay right here in Alviso next to a modest but well stocked neighborhood grocery. After you eat here, you'll want to help get this amazing food up to 4.5 or 5.0 stars. One difference between good tacos and great ones is the aroma. These tacos have it all. The flavors next hit you hard: you can't beat their El Pastor and carnitas in tacos and burritos. So after taking that long hike in the nearby salt flats, revitalize yourself at this amazing taco stand. Food comes quick and service is easy! Food was amazing and everything tasted so good. I loved how spicy their salsa was! Definitely will be back again :
Cheap eats series: We stopped by for lunch as it was super close to Top Golf. The prices are cheap--haven't seen tacos for less than $3 in a while! I got 2 asada and 1 pastor taco at $2.35 each. The sauce it comes with has a small kick of spice to it, but not too intense. Service was quick and the staff taking our orders was kind. In addition, seating space under a canopy was available on the side of the taco truck. Definitely will come here again! We paid with cash. Note: there was a small market right by the taco truck where we grabbed Jarritos and other snacks from!
