Bidra med feedbackThis is hands down the best food I have had in a long time. The chicken is absolutely fantastic and the sides are heaven. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
Great place hidden in Japan Town. I've been there twice and will be back. Ribs are great. Oxtail stew is excellent but they don't always have it.
Checked out this place after it came up as a new restaurant in a Yelp e-mail. I love BBQ and I recently discovered Caribbean food. What could be better than marrying those flavors, right? Well, it did not disappoint. I had a 2 meat plate with 2 sides: the pork ribs and beef tanga, with mac and cheese and the coconut rice and beans. Beef tanga are beef ribs in a delicious spicy sauce. It has a little heat, but not too much. I was offered their much hotter sauce to go with it, but I was fine with the regular. The pork ribs were the highlight for me, closely followed by the mac and cheese. Ribs are fall-off-the bone tender with a great bbq sauce. Mac and cheese tastes much better than it looks. It has an awesome baked-on hard layer of cheddar that gives way to soft pasta and cheesy goodness. If you're used to the fake creamy stuff from a box you might overlook it, but you'd be remiss to pass on it. Mac and cheese is a must order. The staff is super friendly, and it's family owned and operated. We even got a little taste of their delicious sweet potato pie. I'm already planning another trip for more ribs.
Jupiter's c% ! this place is worth fighting over. Crazy part, the sides are as good as the main dishes. Even though there's mac n cheese, you have to order the rice and peas and the garlic potatoes. This is home cooking.
We had the barbeque pork ribs, cinnamon yams and stir-fry kale. Everything was delicious; the ribs were tender and juicy, both sides were excellent. We're definitely going back.
