Bidra med feedbackI was craving Bun Bo Hue today and I ordered it at my usual place. What a disappointment. Another business using the pandemic to reduce portions increased prices. The meat the last few times was chewy. They give a lot of noodles but not much else. See photo.
Good flavors ?Finding parking is competitive so come early.
The signature dish here, Bun Bo Hue, is a pho soup with beef and pork and delicious broth. Be sure to try it, their version is far better than average even for good pho restaurants. The appetizers are also top notch. I shall return!
If you're in the area and in the mood for Bun Bo Hue, the BBH here is legit and usually not overly crowded like some of the other spots in the area. The BBH is loaded with thinly sliced and tender beef shank, pork leg, cha lua, cubes of pork blood and delicious spicy, pungent, and lemongrass-y broth. Get the pizzle for another textural experience! The Banh Beo and Banh Ram It is aight, but I come here strictly for the BBH.
Food ok. No service. Bun Bo Hue: 3.5/5. Not bad. Not spicy enough for my taste. Decent amount of meat. Mi Quang: 2/5. Very small portion. Not worth the price. Note: there was absolutely no service. After taking our order, the waiter was nowhere to be found. Need extra napkins? Need water refill? Hahahaha.... Sorry, you are on your own.
