Britannia Arms Almaden - San Jose

This place is great! I've been here a few times for Trivia. Riskyquizness hosted it to the British! It's so much fun here when there are events! I haven't tried most food yet so I can't give them 5 stars! We just tried some appetizers. I forgot to take pictures of me and my friend's food. I ordered the mozzarella sticks. My friend ordered the fried pickles spears and buffalo wings and she said it was good. I ordered this special alcoholic drink they had for the 90s Trivia. It was called Dirty Pop and had pop rocks on the rims. I think I'll start with it. If I'm here next time, I'll try more food!

Our server Nicole was FANTASTIC!! BAND was TREMENDOUS!!! The food was very good! The next day came back for lunch on the terrace! Our server was GREAT!! The name escapes me, it was big and dark hair! Food was excellent! Bartenders and other servers were very nice! Thank you. Food: 5/5

My people here. Great food, great service in a great location. Oh, and the inside is really cool. Old school pub with dining tables and a stage. There is also a very large terrace that works ideal for large groups or pliney the younger nights. Food: 4/5

Fun little bar kinda pricy but it's San Jose.. They do Karoke and have live bands a lot so def fun atmosphere on Almaden they have others located through out San Jose another for example downtown close to SAP center

Was meeting one of my friend after a long time and he suggested this place. They have indoor as well as outdoor seating (heated). We were told to sit ourselves down. The server was friendly and even suggested some beers. For food, since its a British pub, we wanted to try their Fish and Chips. The fish was very crunchy on the outside and flaky inside. I liked the taste. Also, the server kept checkin in on us to make sure we were taken care of. The place gets a bit loud (which is understandable since its a sports bar). Overall, was a decent experience.
