Britannia Arms - San Jose

Nice local dive bar that isn't too crowded. I went there several times with friends to watch basketball games which were shown on multiple TVs. Good beer selection. The food prices were outrageous however and some things were downright absurd. My friend ordered an appetizer of fried cheese sticks and they brought a plate of JUST 6 TINY CHEESE STICKS which cost a ridiculous $11. Everyone at the table just stared at the plate in silence as we couldn't believe our eyes. I thought it was so absurd that I spoke with the waitress, who was very nice and understanding but she was not the one who set the prices. You can come in to enjoy a beer but do yourself a favor and dont come in here with an empty stomach unless you want to spend a lot of money on mediocre food.

This is a bar with a British pub atmosphere There is generally live music on Friday and Saturday with dancing. Food vibe is bar food, snacks. Also good to watch sporting events.

Atmosphere here is awesome. I've always gotten great service here even during busy times) and the food is amazing. I highly recommend Britannia Arms

Great place to watch NFL on sundays. Multiple screens so you can see the games no matter you sit. Staff and waitresses were friendly and matter sure we were OK. With Dj Brotha Reese playing music made it a party atmosphere.
