Hot Wok -aki Sushi - San Jacinto

Hot Wok was my comfort food spot. I was feeling down today and wanted to get my go-to roll. I was walking into the restaurant when what I assumed was the manager stopped me loudly in the parking lot to tell me the spot I parked in was for Hot Wok Customers only. I let her know that I was going in order to go. The incident left me feeling not just embarrassed but also unfairly judged. Yes, I was dressed in jean shorts and a T-shirt, but I was only there to pick up my order and eat it in my car. I don’t think my outfit was inappropriate. I am not sure I will ever go back. It is a shame since I have been going since 2017. I do want to say that the food was great, but there was no ginger this time. The waitress who took my order was nice, as always. I am conscious of how I spend my money since I only have so much to spend on frivolous things, and for the first time in 7 years, I regret spending it here.

Absolutely love the place and food it's really good

Wish I could have a better review. The waitress was nice. It's way to expensive for what they have and offer. They are limited on sushi selections. Basic rolls are priced the same as speciality rolls. They say fashion but I did not seem to notice any fusion with the food. Just because you decorate, and music, and art represents 2 cultures does not make it fusion. But by adding that to the name as a customer you sure do pay for it.The Mexican roll is basically a California roll. And the poke nachos had no fish. They use crab meat. They say pico de Gallo but it was just tomatoes on top of fried wontons.The beef chow mein was bland. I got asked if I wanted it spicy. And wasn't told about an upcharge for spicy. There was absolutely no spicy to it. Very little meat.It's small inside so don't plan a big group. After reading other reviews it makes me wonder what other customers are comparing it to? Certainly not the best. And again especially for the price. I wonder if they offer a discount to give them 5 stars. There is no way this was 5 stars.Give it a shot. Try it out. Don't go with high expectations. And be prepared to spend a lot of money.

I didn’t take any pics of my food because it was 12:30pm and I was fasting. In other words, I was starving! The food was so amazing, the service was beyond perfect. It’s not common that you find a restaurant that has both good food and great customer service. I am so happy that this place is close to home. I will become a regular here!

Ordered for pickup, Chowmein, 2 rolls. Food was ok. Always wanted to try. Only thing I want to say is UPDATE YOUR PRICES ON LINE. GOT THERE TURNED OUT MY TOTAL WAS MUCH HIGHER, THAN IT STATES ON LINE. ?
