We spent a fabulous time lunch in this beautiful restaurant. romantic window table, fantastic eating, and our waiter fransisco was simply the best. we would like to come back and recommend this place.
Limited but beautiful menu, eating and wein were both good. the evening was ruined by bad administration and horrific customer service. we asked about five minutes after we had finished our head before we ordered a dessert. they did not come back to us, but suddenly they brought the bill. we said we were not asking for a bill, but wanted to dessert. the waiter left, but not back. some time later we finally asked for a dessert, but we were told whether we wanted to dessert to move into another table when a group had arrived, not booked, but wanted to sit outside. we said no, because it was hot inside, and in this phase we had no dessert or coffee and were there less than 1.5 hours late was not with us either. They asked us to offer the dessert free again. in this phase we told them that they did not bother and leave. it spoiled what was a good meal and has very annoyed us that someone can show up unannounced and given priority over a diner! bad management and even worse customer service. I understand they have to live, but that was rude
I’ve been in Italy for over a week and I just had the best meal at Olivieri Bistrot. We were greeted graciously as soon as we entered and were treated as if we were friends coming over for dinner. Food was delicious, wine choices excellent,...and prices more than fair. Good service and attentive wait staff. I would not hesitate to eat there again, and would gladly tel my friends to go and eat there. Olivieri is on my list to revisit next time I’m in Italy.
What a special evening of good food, good wine and good friends, old and new. The new friends were the maintre de and the chef and kitchen help. The ambience of the restaurant immediately makes you feel welcomed with soft inviting dinner music too. Then...the staff, all of them, are helpful with wine and dinner suggestions. During the entire meal my friend and I were off and on in conversation with the maitre de who treated us like welcomed guests in his home for whom he had had prepared the best food and served the best wine. He also shared a recipe for the red onion jam served with the appetizer of four cheeses. We have been in Italy for over a week and eaten a lot of pasta dishes and tonight’s compared more than favorably with ones we had eaten in restaurants that had had Michelin ratings. What a special and memorable evening.
