Bidra med feedbackThis place is a gem. A local mentioned that we should check it out. Typical Italian service. But the FOOD. Excellent. Pizza are paper thin and the dry aged beef is worth the price. Even the rare cooked portioned still have ample flavor without that feeling of eating undercooked meat. Being a foodie from Los Angeles I would return here in a heart beat.
Came for the steak florentine and we were not disappointed! Highly recommend this place for those wanting an authentic meal. Even though we arrived without a booking we were kindly looked after on a Saturday night.
Just about perfect. Pizzas were quit tasty as well as the gnocci genovese. The local San Gimignano wines were great especially the Magnificao. It was worth the price.
I don't post on Yelp but this place was soooo good I had to share it with others. The owner was authentic Italian, helped us park the car in an illegal spot, walked us through the Italian toppings and then placed the 2 best pizzas we've ever tasted on our table. Incredible!
Due to high volume of diners we were placed in the upstairs dining room all by ourselves, which couldn't have worked out better since we have a rambunctious 2 and 5 year old. The pizza crust were great, crusty outside with a chewy center and a touch of sweetness. Sauces were perfect in taste but I would say they were a bit on the watery side if I'm being nit picky. Each pizza developed the delicious crust bubbles that come from fire roasting. Local vernaccia was a nice pre course to dinner as well as the ubiquitous Aperol spritz(my first ever, not bad but I can live without it). Charcuterie was good as expected in these parts, dressed with local speck(essentially a smoky lard), prosciutto, and salami.
