Gelateria Dondoli - SAN GIMIGNANO

I am very pleased to end our visit to the beautiful san gimignano by eating something gelato at a former world champion winner. there was a huge waiting snake outside and after 10 minutes waiting time they entered a very small load with away to many people inside. everyone tries to place his order by screaming out the aromes, totally chaotic and not very pleasant. the place is popular so I live with him when the ice is the best thing I think for myself. the disappointment was huge. taste is a very individual thing, but that was the worst ice I ever tried in my life. much too much to cover up from lack of taste and a strange texture. I threw it out after a few spoons. it's the first time I threw out ice.

Very popular ice cream shop, supposably a world champion. For me it's the worst ice cream I ever had, doesn't taste well at all. Also the only vegan options are the fruit flavours and one chocolate flavour. That's how it's usually and nothing special.

We arrived on a tour in san gimignano and this place was recommended by our guide. the lines were out of the door and we were in and out within 10 minutes. it was really full in the inner and it was hard to look around to check the aromen in case. as a reviewer had mentioned, they must shout out their order. there were many great vegan options! the gelato was pretty decent. So so so good and so worth it!! One of the best gelato I had in Italy

I had some sorbets here. it is helpful that the website clearly shows the ingredients of the aromen.
