Tapioca Express - San Gabriel

There is a small shared parking lot for customers or you can find parking on the street. They are currently open for take out only. There is hand sanitizer available for customers to use. The staff are all wearing masks. The staff are friendly. I really like their mango yogurt frost. It reminds me of frozen yogurt with mango puree. Most of the mango puree is at the bottom of the drink. It is hard to mix the drink when you first get it. I suggest you lift your straw up while drinking it so you aren't sipping up all the mango puree or else you'll have no mango flavor towards the end. I also like their fried tofu.

It's low price good quality and it is the same every time so you always know what to expect. No surprises, no surprisingly bad! It has WiFi and a well lit area. Not noisy. Good.

Nice staff, fast and friendly service. Limited seating but we always take it to go. I definitely recommend the squid balls and crispy tempura. This place is also very clean!

Great lunch specials. Decent drinks and they do the sugar levels right here. Parking can suck but great for a quick eat and boba.

It's been around for many years, and TAPEX is the OG brand in the 626 and Asian community. Not much to say, the Bento combo is good value and a perfect lunch takeaway if you ain't got much time. It's popcorn chicken is IMO, the standard for all popcorn chickens around. #supportlocalbusiness
