Bidra med feedbackI have my period every day at the front desk, right? I have a bad attitude and show off my private face to customers. Is that to cover up and pretend to be a burden?
First time at this dessert shop. Been wanting to try it each time we're eating at A Ri Rang Tofu House in the same plaza. It's a small lil store and you can easily see the desserts as you walk in. Staff were very friendly and recommended the Coconut Double, Matcha Strawberry or the Matcha Nutella. We decided to get the Matcha Strawberry to share. It was pretty good, Very refreshing taste and not too sweet. It cost $9 per jar, but the packaging is really nice. They also recycle the jar at the store. Their bag and utensils are also very cute.
Background on Melo Melo Info is from their website: melomelo.us/our-story )Melo Melo started with our simple love for coconuts. We're committed to making and serving delicious, natural, and healthful desserts. Every good dessert starts with the best ingredients, and we source the best tasting fruits and milk we can find. When it comes to quality ingredients, you can taste the difference. The old adage goes: you get what you pay for. We've found that often to be true, so we don't skimp or cut corners with cheap ingredients. We've always had high standards when it comes to choosing what we eat, and that carries over to what we serve. You get our very best in every bite. Why Glass Jars???We choose to serve our desserts in glass jars instead of plastic for two reasons. First, making coconut jelly is a hot process, and we just can't be sure if pouring hot liquid jelly into plastic jars poses any kind of health risks or not. And we don't want to take any chances with the well-being of our guests or team members. Second, glass jars can be reused any number of fun and useful ways and can always be recycled. That's a beautiful thing, when you consider the growing volumes of plastic waste in our environment that will practically never break down. We believe only a healthy environment can yield the healthy ingredients that we use to make our delicious desserts.Recycling Program: Return 10 Melo Melo Glass Jars to any of the locations for a FREE Coconut Jelly Single $6.99 value). Restrictions apply: Must be thoroughly washed and not damaged.Restroom: One unisex restroom available.Credit Cards: They're accepted.Price Point: The dessert that they sell is not cheap. I guess everything in a glass jar plus packaging makes things more expensive. :Location/Parking: Located in the same plaza as A Ri Rang Tofu House and Tay Ho. Parking can be found in their shared lot up front or parking in the back/underground parking.Ambiance/Decor: Alright ambiance with modern furnishings. It's a small shop with 4 or 5 tables to enjoy your dessert. Service: Service was good. The staffers were friendly and offered great suggestions. My dessert came out fast, because it was already made before hand.Melo Melo Coconut Dessert Of Choice: I bought one of their new items, Osmanthus Oolong Oat. It consists of Oat milk, Coconut milk, Osmanthus Oolong Mochi, and Osmanthus Oolong Jelly. Thought the dessert was quite good. Had a fun time eating each layer total of 3 layers).Melo Melo Coconut Dessert For Thought: I wouldn't mind coming back. Perhaps next time, I'll try either the dragon fruit, durian, or oreo coconut flavors.
There are several locations I went to the Irvine location. I went for their special product offerings with cute packaging during Lunar Moon festival and Halloween time. It can get pricey and items have a short shelf life (with no preservatives) so only buy what you can consume.
I have always thought this restaurant was pretty good. I introduced my friends to eat there, but what I bought was moldy...
