A Ri Rang Tofu House - San Gabriel

Discovered this hidden gem on a trip to LA for my birthday 2022. The line was long but the wait was worth it. My fiancé and I both got combination meals and were not disappointed. The food is incredible, I love the barley tea, the banchan, and service was great. I will never forget how delicious that tofu soup is and I've tried to recreate it to no avail. During the ice storms of Christmas 2022 my fiancé and I had to drive from PHX to PDX due to a canceled flight and we made a pit stop to A Ri Rang Tofu House on Christmas Eve because everything around was closed. We were so incredibly happy and so we're our bellies. Highly recommend!!

Really fast service. Food was great. Staff was friendly. The food came out in less than 20mins.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE A RI RANG!! Super comforting food and a great selection of banchan. I always get their seafood tofu soup and it's super flavorful. I usually get it mild and it's not too spicy. My boyfriend likes the kimchi tofu soup with medium spice, but that had a kick to it. They also have decent tteokbokki which my bf rates 7/10. Will definitely satisfy your craving. It was pretty spicy though. Service is good and they will refill your banchan and waters regularly. Very chill vibes :

Me and my girl were great for dinner with this expectation but after waiting a few minutes inside us, we knew what we wanted to get, after waiting a few more minutes. Didn't even come to take our order, then I must give up on him. Service, we ordered and the guy who took the order was great he brought the side dishes quickly. When we finally got the first dish, we didn't get the rice, about 5 minutes later I asked a waitress if we needed steamed rice, and then my girlfriend who was behind me noticed, after eating, I felt we were being discriminated at some point, not so sure, we feel the same way, and we got our food late, we have. Didn't have time to look, they were about to close when we got the check, they didn't even bother, and we waitress often to check it. See if I have cash or ready to pay, the guy with the dishwasher is waiting with us to clean our table with a tray, that's why I do it. You shouldn't pay when I get his check, he almost knows he won't hesitate to table if I pay you, it's already a bet with me, my will. If anyone is interested, don't arrive around 8pm. Dinner is only fun if you guys can eat really hot and fast food. For us to be here for the last time, congratulations to all.
