Bidra med feedbackWe were excited to try a new restaurant in our neighborhood, but unfortunately, we were left feeling very let down. The spider roll we ordered was mushy and unappetizing, and we couldn't even finish it. The rainbow roll also lacked freshness, with imitation crab in the middle. The fish on top was decent, but the overall experience was disappointing. The atmosphere was also lackluster, with the only sound being the constant ringing of the phone for takeout orders and an employee taking a FaceTime call at the bar for the entirety of our meal. With so many other dining options in the city, I would not recommend this place.
I am blown away by how consistently amazing this sushi restaurant is! It has become my family's favorite spot for sushi. The cozy restaurant is in West Portal, though parking can sometimes be a challenge. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our go-to orders include the dragon roll, fresh oysters, and sashimi combo, all of which have generous portions of fresh fish. The prices here are much cheaper than other places in the city. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.
The quality is decent for the price you pay, making it a good option when you don't want to spend over $40 per person. We spent $80, including tax and tip, for a satisfying dinner for two. My favorite dishes were the miso soup, spicy tuna roll, and hamachi/yellowtail rolls or nigiri. The tempura was also quite good. However, I would recommend skipping the Nabe dish based on my personal experience.
Our to go place for sushi! Located in West Portal part of San Francisco, family owned and truly a hidden gem! Great Sushi, along with friendly service and simple atmosphere. If you crave great sushi, with great value, this place is it!
Damn...found this place on yelp and it was close to our next meeting so I text my boss to meet me before our meeting. When I arrived, I thought the place was shut down and the website wasn't updated. So I got out and looked at the other side of the building and saw lights on then watched as people walked upstairs and entered. I was seated right away and had to laugh as I watched my boss walk up and down the street looking for this place. This place is a hole in the wall, hidden gem! We ordered the lunch sashimi assortment along with a dragon and rainbow roll. The sashimi was like butta!!! Melted in your mouth. The service was great and the people (man and woman) were fast and friendly. I'll definitely be back
