We were in the mood for menudo, and after reading the mass amounts of reviews we decided to try. We had to wait over 30 minutes for a table, and we ordered Jamaica and a Michelada to start, which both excellent. Great authentic Mexican restaurant in Mission! Ordered their two-item combo and got a chicken enchilada and potato flauta. Service was great and food came out fast. Love the atmosphere and artwork all around the restaurant.

Sanjalisco is the best Mexican food I've ever eaten, and I'm writing it from mexiko. my best friend is an SF native that grew up in the neighbourhood and her whole life has gone here. she took me here a year ago and I find myself talking to return again and again – although I don't live anywhere near sf. my regular order was quickly the chilaquiles remo (with huh and ei.) I dream of them. but everything I tasted here was delicious. (the suppers rotate daily and should be tried.) it is family owned. the personal is friendly. eating is cheap and they serve the breakfast all day. What are you waiting for?
