Maison Nico - San Francisco

One of my favorite spot in the city for croissants. The Ham and cheese is a must try and also the strawberry croissant. Will go back every time I’m in the area. Friendly service and nice environment.

Out for a walk and here to enjoy the coffee/chocolate break. The atmosphere was great, I enjoyed the hot chocolate served.I didn't get to try the pastries, hopefully, next time.

The pastry at this place is amazing. I went with two French friends, and they both approved. We got a chocolate croissant, a Parisian flan, a duck pâté, and a croque monsieur and loved all. Just keep in mind that this place is on the pricier side. We paid $50 for these 4 items, but then again this is San Francisco. Can’t compare with Paris prices.Next time I go I will get their plain croissant as they’ve won the Best Croissant in SF award for 2023.

Beautiful looking pastries but definitely not the best croissants in the city. the pastries were all decent but there’s too much competition in the city to rank. they also need to redo the interior design space was too cramped for the amount of seating and there was no flow.

Great aesthetics, especially in pastries. The croissant was quite mild in flavors and texture. Lower perceived butter and salt lends to tasting the pure croissant component. Not too flaky as to crumble and leave a mess. This perfect croissant should appeal to all.
