Bidra med feedbackOwner served and was very solicitous. Good chowder, fresh fish and delicious vongole pasta. Good neighborhood spot in an area of Columbus where many restaurants closed and everyone in North Beach is waiting to see what will replace them. Although not exactly new, they are profiting from being a Second venue of a well-Known restaurant and the end of repaving at Union and Columbus.
Quiet little place, but nothing special. Very under seasoned, the bread was burnt, and they left huge chunks of garlic in my pasta dish, which made sections of it inedible.
Great food, great service. It's the type of restaurant that the owners wait on you while they talk to their customers. It's a throw back to the simpler days.
I think this restaurant has the freshest and best seafood in San Francisco! I would recommend it to anyone who likes seafood. Great variety of oysters to start, fried calamari is wonderful, very light and the scallop risotto is amazing as is the fresh pacific salmon. I love the roasted brussel sprouts too. And roasted artichokes when in season. So far everything I have tried is great.
Online menu was much more attractive than the actual menu. Service was poor, food was mediocre at best. Oyster appetizer was rancid.
