Bidra med feedbackWe went for restaurant week and made a reservation specifically for the dinner menu. When we asked about the dinner menu, they said the restaurant week offer was done. Clearly, from the website I knew it was still going on. Our server asked the host and she motioned something like “give them the menu”. We did get the restaurant week menu, but felt like they didn’t want to serve us because they were busy. The drinks were good but the food was super mid. The best thing in the menu was the kale salad. Skip the paella and order drinks instead.
I dined there for lunch during SF Restaurant Week. I always find this to be a great time to try a place where I haven’t been before. I understand that the portions on the prix fixe menu are not the normal size, but this was barely a snack for $40. Appetizer was fine, then came paella in a child size paella pan and the manchego cheesecake for dessert served on a skewer was no more than 2 bites.Very disappointed and based on that I would not return. I wish I had taken some photos to share
Went for Restauruant week, called before to confirm outside patio had heaters. Got there for our 7p reservation, heater by our table had run out of propane, staff said they couldn’t fix it and they said no to moving another heater toward our table. Server took our orders, came back 20 minutes later saying the had run out of kale salad and only had beet salad. I can’t stand beets and asked for a different substitute, they said no and that they had run out of bread too ??? . Different server came 20 minutes later with kale salad ??? . First server had forgotten ??? to enter our main entree so it was an hour before the very small portion of paella arrived with bread…!! . Cheesecake pops with 6 Carmel popcorn pieces was pretty awful tasting. Would not recommend or come back.
Fabulous tapas, with so many different choices. Our waiter was great at letting us know which were truly special. I am a known foodie and great cook. I was so surprised at the quality and favors that totally surprised me. I'd give it 5 stars for the lunch we had. The presentation was excellent...and then taking the bite was heavenly!
The food is absolutely delicious, the reason that I return. Everything I have ordered has been amazing, with a special shout-out to the eggplant and goat cheese sandwich and manchego cheesecake lollipops. Choose your cocktail wisely as some are amazing and others rather ordinary: at $16 should be special. The only downside is that it can be very noisy in the dining room, as it was last night. My daughter likes this place because it reminds her of when she lived in Spain.
