Santeria - San Francisc

I just want to thank Santeria for having the best Latin food at the Castro!! I usually come in for their new Ensenada Fresca and I get some Mexican wings I shred up the chicken onto my salad then add me some pepper and ranch tossed on top. It’s my new year’s addiction besides that it’s helpful to my diet. Which I feel super fabulous and transformed once accomplished the magic works! If you’re visiting come highlight your afternoon/evening here. Drinks are also 5 star drinks out of the whole Castro. I go into a lot of places in Castro. However this is an amazing hanging out spot. Cheers to Freddy the man in charge/ Team and owners Lalo and Eva! Thank you for the amazing art and idea of a neat restaurant.

Great food, good vegan options, lovely atmosphere! ?

My partner and I have made it a goal to eat here whenever we come to the Bay. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and inviting. Each plate provides its own unique flavor and they’re all great portions. We love the brunch, the drinks, and the staff. The owner is an absolute delight as well.

Santeria opened up a few years ago, and my family and I were overjoyed that a nice, sit-down Mexican restaurant was opening near us. The food never disappoints, and even with a menu that changes every-so-often weve never been disappointed. The cocktails are out-of-this-world but my favorite has always been a prikly pear margarita (with tajin!! . I've maybe ordered their flautas 50 times since they've opened, it's the best thing on their big Happy Hour list!While the service can be hit-or-miss, we used to always like having Sandra as our server and now that she's gone we always are hoping for Wyatt to serve us. He's funny, helpful, professional, and makes the whole experience above-and-beyond. Plus the music is usually best (and not too loud when he's there.Will definitely be coming back for more flautas, Wyatt, the decor, the outdoor seating, and tequila!!

Went for happy hour. Nice selection of items on the happy hour menu including the traditional margarita x2 pitchers. 4 of us made a meal out of it. Thomas was very friendly and attentive even after he got a table of 10.
