Bidra med feedbackChile Lindo is a gem for those who love Chilean cuisine, especially empanadas. I have been a regular at this restaurant for over 20 years, and their empanadas never disappoint. They are authentic and remind me of the ones I had in Chile. The Pino empanada with seasoned beef, black olive, and hard boiled egg is my favorite, followed closely by the Merken spicy beef. The empanadas are large and filling, but my friends and I always end up ordering more because they are just too delicious to resist. Don't forget to try their Pebre Chilean mild salsa on the side and wash it all down with a refreshing drink. Finish off your meal with an Alfajores Sandwich cookie filled with Manjar (Dulce de Leche) for a sweet treat. The owner, Paula, is a welcoming and friendly host who adds to the warm atmosphere of the restaurant. I highly recommend a visit to Chile Lindo for a taste of authentic Chilean flavors. I'm already craving their empanadas again!
I really enjoy this restaurant. I'm not from the area, but I was visiting San Francisco when I heard jazz music while walking down the street on a Tuesday night. I decided to go inside and found a live band playing. The atmosphere was great with a lovely crowd, delicious homemade food, and a good selection of beer and wine.
