Chowking - San Fernando

I had a disappointing experience ordering Pork Siomai at this restaurant. I was expecting it to only contain pork, but after a few bites I realized there was also shrimp in it. As someone allergic to shrimp, I was shocked and called the manager. She confirmed that the pork siomai did indeed contain shrimp. I was surprised and frustrated, as the name of the dish gave no indication of shrimp being included. The manager insensitively asked if I had mentioned my shrimp allergy when ordering, which I had not. She essentially dismissed my concerns and said it was not their fault. This lack of transparency is concerning and could be dangerous for others with allergies. Restaurants should be cautious about accurately labeling their menu items to avoid potential harm to their customers.

The service at the Chowking branch in Robinsons Pampanga is poor.

It's frustrating to wait in line for 15 minutes only to be told by the cashier to switch lines because there's no number stand? Do I really need to deal with that problem??? And to top it off, the cashiers are so slow! #PoorService #ChowkingPH
