Uptown Tavern - San Diego

This restaurant is fantastic and is completely operated by members of the LGBTQ+ community. I adore the atmosphere here, in addition to the delicious food and drinks.

A group of unfriendly young adults (mostly 20s to 30s) at this restaurant, but that's not surprising. The food is excellent, especially the chicken strips. The bartenders are decent to good, and overall the restaurant is well-managed.

I've been coming here for years, the food and drinks are amazing (LOVE the Mac and cheese and brussel sprouts) every time I come we always have Jared as our server and he is the best! Friendly people great food and great drinks

This restaurant is always a great time! Whether you're in the mood for a meal or just some late-night drinks, this place does not disappoint. The mac and cheese is a must-try and always leaves a lasting impression.

I've been here several times in the last two years. This is a great place. gays just know how to do it right. Bar food is good. Hit the spot. Good music. Friendly staff and bartenders are great. I don't think it's too expensive. Great for a Sunday drink or before you start your night. I never had problems. Would definitely continue to support this place.
