The Arizona Cafe - San Diego

Chad was friendly and provided excellent service! He suggested the 805 brew on tap, and it was just right. My wife had the BLT and said it was perfect. I had the Black Blue Stuffed Burger, it was the best I've had in any state. So glad we found this great spot!Food: 5/5

Came in Sunday night. Got ignored my both bartenders revived the nastiest lemonade waited mins before I even got to order a lemonade or a bartender to ask me if I wanted something and then both bartenders were to busy talking to get my food order in so I left left couple bucks for my water lemonade. I am a bartender myself and I know if I treated customers the way I was treated I wouldn't have a job.

I felt ignored by the bar staff. Wasn't busy, only 2 other patrons already with drinks then new people came in and the bar tender walks by me again and took their order.My eyes met with guy who saw how I was passed over and acknowledge the bad service done unto me.I'm in the hospitality/restaurant business and as you have read that was terrible service and won't be back to AZ Cafe.I'm from OB this wasn't my first time there, but it was the worst time there.My tip was generous because I hope he realized he should have been quick to provide good service

Sometimes a bartenders make the place. This bartender was not very personable. Tried to make conversation but he only had short answers. I guess you have to be a frequent patronage to feel welcomed. We were excited to visit the place since we just flew in from AZ. It's been over 3 years since we've been back to CA. We will still enjoy our stay here in San Diego.

After a fun evening of partying and singing at The Shout House downtown we rolled back to Ocean Beach to get our grub on. We were directed to the Arizona Cafe by an intoxicated jolly fat man who seemed to know what he was talking about. He was 100 percent spot on. Very fun loud local dive bar with pool tables and ambience. We each had a dog of our choice and some chili cheese fries. Only one word.....WOW! Cold beer, friendly knowledgeable staff, and pub food worth raving about. We will be going back in the near future.
