An hour wait for a Sandwich is really no way to run a business. At least let the customer know upfront before taking their money and let them make a decision whether or not they would like to continue the transaction.

I think that this place is so reasonably priced and for being in the heart of North Park, that is hard to come by. The ambiance gives me the coffee shop from Friends vibes which makes it a great place for a date, to study or just to catch up with a friend. There is lots and lots of seating (small outdoor area on the sidewalk) but I don 't know if there are a ton of outlets. I have only been there for takeout. I myself am not a coffee drinker but when I went to recommend this spot to my friend she said Subterranean is my favorite spot for coffee in North Park! . The reason I originally went in was because their Strawberry Lemonade drew me in. It is almost like a slushie/smoothie. It is unreal. I want to go get it every day and with June Gloom being over I will definitely be cooling off with this beverage. Their drink options are crazy good. Smoothies, teas, coffees, milkshakes, frappes, and more were there to choose from. I am looking forward to trying out one of the Milkshake/Ice Cream drinks soon. I look forward to trying some of the items on their menu as it all looks and smells so good in there.

Quaint little space with plenty of indoor and sidewalk seating. I had the Reese's (peanut butter) mocha, and it was amazing!

I love the vibe at this place. The art, decor, music, and even customers to a degree just give this really cool and chill and vaguely punk but not intimidating vibe. Best coffee shop vibes in San Diego for me for sure, even if it is mostly a study/work coffee shop. I love the starman latte, but I may be biased because I'm a big Bowie fan : My only complaint is the wifi password wasn't clearly posted and I get nervous asking for the wifi. But the shop is so nice I give it a pass Love u subterranean coffee

I need to stop coming here. Everytime no matter what part of day the staff working takes FOREVER. They don 't wear gloves and the girl just liked her finger then finished making an açaí bowl. I ordered a smoothie 23 minutes okay. Once everyone who ordered after me got their items I kindly asked what 's that status? And she replied we 're working on it now . She legit turned around and then started it. I don 't think they forgot I just don 't think they care and there 's no sense of urgency. Boo.
