Starbucks Coffee Co - San Diego

I enjoy this situation because it has tons of outside seats. It's not too full either. I come here a few hours before work and cool at one of the tables, enjoy my green tea Matcha Latte (w/almond milk), and write on my planner. I'll relax here before I start my shift.

Nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Made my drink perfectly. The bathroom was clean. No dine in open at this time. Located in a beautiful location, you can sit outside.

**Food & Drink:** I arrived around 6:00 AM, and the place was already bustling. I ordered an almond milk latte and a pumpkin muffin with cream cheese filling. The latte was well-prepared, boasting a rich and intense coffee flavor, served at the perfect temperature. As for the pumpkin muffin, I had my eye on it after a recommendation from the barista. However, I was disappointed to discover that all the pumpkin spice flavor and cream cheese filling were only in the muffin's top part. When she warmed it for me, the top half easily came out of the paper bag, leaving the bottom half stuck inside. The cream cheese was merely a small dollop on top, which wasn’t what I expected. The taste was decent overall, but I doubt I would order it again. **Staff:** The young baristas were incredibly pleasant and friendly, showing a genuine customer-oriented attitude. They had the right energy to cater to early risers like myself, who were still waking up and needed their caffeine fix. **Cleanliness:** The entire café was neat and tidy, with no complaints in that regard. **Restrooms:** Upon entering, I immediately checked out the restroom, which was spotless. It had paper towels, hot running water, toilet paper, and hand soap—definitely a plus for a morning coffee spot. **Ambiance:** The café has a lovely design, though it lacks privacy due to its spacious layout. It features standard tables and chairs, alongside a long communal table with high stools, giving customers options for where to enjoy their breakfast. There’s also a sizable wall refrigerator stocked with cold drinks and plenty of water bottles, which is another great feature for a morning café. I particularly liked that they were setting up an order pickup station, allowing customers to quickly grab their drinks while providing a convenient way to leave tips. Overall, the atmosphere was well-designed for a relaxing vibe, and I enjoyed my coffee and muffin at the high table. **Location:** The location is excellent, with restaurants and shops nearby, but it is somewhat tucked away from the main roads—ideal only if you’re in the neighborhood. **Conclusion:** I will definitely return to this café the next time I'm in the area!

This is by far the best Starbucks location! The staff is incredibly friendly, organized, and positive. Don't waste your time waiting in long lines elsewhere; come here where they truly remember you and your order!
