This sandwich was exactly what I had been craving. A large amount of sliced beef of perfect thicknrss, flavorful and tender. The gravy was delicious but I would have liked more of it.
First time at this place. They have outside sitting. They have TheBig Nick challenge here which I’m going to try next time. I like the mural on the side of the diner. The place was pretty clean and the staff were very nice. Ordered off the window menu special. Got drinks and my cup had some green stuff in it so that’s how we started hahaha. Kevin was the waiter and he did a good job of taking the order but messed up on the eggs. One over easy, two over hard well they all came out over easy but he was nice enough to take our plates back and get them recooked. The pancakes were ok. Nothing special just cheap and good.
Fantastic food, Huge portions, definitely will not leave her hungry, 24-7, breakfast anytime great diner experience, first time here, definitely not my last.
A picture is proudly displayed on the outside wall of Rudford's. Depicting President John F. Kennedy in a motorcade on his way to the commencement ceremony of San Diego State College in 1963. This place is definitely a diner. A row of barstools lining the counter top can be seen as you enter. Many booths line the wall. Outside seating is available along with parking in the back. Came here for lunch with daughter after errands and yet another doctor appointment. Decided upon breakfast and was not disappointed. My breakfast sandwich and hash browns tasted good. I love it when breakfast is served all day. It really is the best meal. They are always open, literally. The menu offers a wide variety of; omelettes, pancakes, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, entree's, soups, salads, vegetarian dishes and daily specials. The drink menu offers the following; mimosas, beer, wine, sangria, shakes and sodas. The dessert menu includes: sundae's, banana split, weekly cake special and many pies. Family owned and run from 1949 until 1983 when it was purchased by Leon Gilman.
