City Pizzeria - San Diego

This spot has that authentic east coast city flavor! The sandwiches are bomb and everyone that knows this spot talk about the bread! It has a balance of fluff and crust-crunch. The mouth feel and flavor is on point! I just had the cheesecake and I wasn 't expecting actual flavor! All that plus the prices are the most reasonable in downtown San Diego! Oh and when Stuart, the server, says 'I appreciate you ' you can tell he means that. What a gem

Good was great. The guy up front was kinda abrupt, but I have tough skin. The food is the important part I had a calzone and it was amazing. Super cheesy, meekly and gooey. I would eat here again.

Awesome place to pickup a slice of pizza and a cold draft beer! Will be back!

Update from 3/7/21 I've been going here a little over a year now. I just had dinner with my mom there last night and we had pizza, pasta, salad, PIPING HOT GARLIC BREAD and beer (on DRAFT!!
