Aladdin Mediterranean Hillcrest

This is a great place for coffee or lunch. I can't speak for the coffee drinks because I drink just plain coffee but their sandwiches are excellent and reasonably priced. I've had the turkey and the mozzarella and both were delicious. The patio is large with spaced out shaded tables.

My new local favorite! Great location Shared parking with Trader Joe's/Ralph's complex. Not exactly easy to find parking but you eventually do; and esp check out the 15 minute parking spots on the side street. I've been here many times now and they deliver every time. Excellent customer service. Patient and easy going. The drink menu is great with the usual non lactose milk substitutes (still wish it didn't cost extra just bc I have an allergy but that's a general comment). The food menu is great from savory to sweet options. The best part is really their seating area. Indoor has enough space to not feel crowded. The glass windows make it nice and bright inside. The outdoor area has covered and non covered spots (shaded vs sun). Large tables for those who like that. Small individual tables for those not looking to spread out. I love overhearing these amazing conversations from people in the community (sorry, I couldn't help it). It just has such a great vibe here.

Absolutely loved this place! Both the food service was excellent! The shop is beautiful, spacious, clean. We had some acai bowls, bagel sandwiches, cold brews, some pastries...everything was delicious! Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.

This is a beautiful coffee shop! It is very spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a cute photo wall which was great for taking pictures. I had a great experience with the customer service here. The barista was very polite and our food came out quickly! I really liked how they had a wide variety of both drinks and food in their menu. I got the Aloha Latte with almond milk, which I had high hopes for. Unfortunately I did not taste the macadamia flavor that much, but I still enjoyed the drink. My friend and I both ordered to share. We got t he Classic Acai Bowl and asked to add peanut butter, and the Veggie Bagel. The classic acai bowl was very tasty, though I will admit they were very generous with the peanut butter, I'm not complaining! The veggie bagel was so delicious, especially because the toasted bagel went so well with the cold veggies and cream cheese.

I spent 5 days in San Diego on vacation from Maine. Coffeentalk Hillcrest was my go-to for my morning coffee everyday. The staff is super kind and friendly and made me feel very welcome. I'm planing to move out to San Diego and look forward to spending more time here. Thank you to all the staff that I interacted with. I wish I'd thought to get names.
